While we are not online safety experts we do understand that online safety is an ever growing concern by individuals, and even more so for those parents/guardians out there. This section of our website is to address those concerns, share our concerns, and also provide understanding of systems we use that may ask for your personal information.

Your Safety First
This is extremely important. Your safety is first, and always at the front of our minds, especially while live streaming, and reviewing comments to our videos. We are continuously reminder people that watch our streams to not share their age, or specifics about where they live. Often people want to share these so we guide locations to be broad like their Country or State, but push to exclude Cities/Towns. If someone posts a more specific location we try to delete it as soon as we notice. In regards to age, we make this a game which is working pretty well, we give ridiculous ages for ourselves when people ask for example some days I’m 1,823.523. Quickly the conversation moves away from age. The times people do share ages, especially when under 13, we deleted it immediately. Education around Online Safety is becoming more prominent, so we really don’t see as much voluntary sharing of information. Thankfully in our platforms we have also not seen people request that information. If in any of our social media platforms we see that behavior it’ll immediately be reported to the platform, and if circumstances dictate also to law enforcement.
We Are A Real Business
We have gone to great lengths to not just be a YouTube Channel. We are a legitimate business licensed in Oregon, Noob Family Gaming LLC. We are a new business, as of 2021, and we take this very seriously. Putting you at risk, puts us at risk as individuals, and also our business. The financial risk is not our concern, our concern is the safety of our community members. If anything were to happen to anyone in our community, because of a lack of vigilance on our end we would be personally, and emotionally devastated. Because of our personal attachment to our community, as parents, we do everything we can to protect our community, to protect our own children, and to protect the promises that we have made to all of you.
Being a business, we hope will allow you to trust us, and also give you a way to look us up to understand we are legitimate, and their are some rules and regulations surrounding all that we are doing.
When Will We Ask For Your Personal Information
Will we share your information with others? No! Not ever. We promise to not share your personal information with anyone/anything else.
Membership Tier Gifts: We only ask for personal information in order to give you YouTube Membership gifts, if you purchase a tier that offers a gift. We have autographed gifts provided to certain tiers, and the only way to get that to you is for us to get the product, sign the product, and then ship the product to you. So if you purchase a tier that comes with a gift like that you have 2 options: You can accept the gift and provide shipping information to us, and we can ship you your gift. Or, you can deny the gift, in which case no information is needed.
Gift Card Giveaways: We give out gift cards typically weekly. These we ONLY share digitally, and will never ask for a home address, phone number, or other personal information like that. Though, depending on what social media you are allowed to you we may need to know your email address, or contact information for other social media platforms. Typically, we utilize Discord and can easily provide a picture of the gift card through Discord direct messaging. But if someone can’t use Discord we can use Email, Twitter Messaging, Facebook Messaging, or other forms of social media direct messaging. If someone is not able to utilize one of these forms of communication new winners will be selected for these giveaways, cards will not be mailed.
Purchasing Merchandise: You can purchase merchandise to support our YouTube channels. All merchandise is purchased through our Streamlabs storefront. This is similar to any other online store (Amazon, Zazzle, Shopify and more). The difference is Streamlabs is specifically intended for YouTubers, Twitch Streamers, and people trying to create successful businesses in the social media realm. Streamlabs has created an environment where businesses like ours can get software to do what we do, run fundraisers, allow people to donate to us, create a simple store so fans can buy our merchandise (like you would at a concert), all in one place to simplify the experience for you.
Because Streamlabs may be new to you, we understand the concern of providing them with your credit card information, address, name, and other personal information. We understand that. We hope that you will take the time to go look at their website, question it’s authenticity, and seek answers to those questions. We personally have purchased our own merchandise through Streamlabs and the experiences have been good, in addition we have purchased their Prime membership to improve our streaming services, merchandise options, and overall community experience.
Please remain cautious, but understand that Streamlabs is a safe storefront that allows us small business to not have to order 1,000 shirts (that may not sell), and they ship all over the world. We are very grateful to have these services and are hoping to spread awareness that Streamlabs is a safe organization, and can be trusted.
Friendly Fraud
Never had imagined I would ever call fraud friendly. Friendly fraud is also called first-party fraud. In short this type of fraud is most often not done with malintent. More often than not this type of fraud is done without an understanding of the consequences of the actions being taken. For example, a child learning how to use their parents credit card and buying all of the coolest Lego on Amazon. Sure it only costed $100,000.00, but the child wasn’t being malicious in their act, just didn’t necessarily understand how serious the consequences of those actions may be. And who doesn’t want $100,000.00 worth of Lego?
Friendly Fraud can be malicious, and it can be confusing. As we are not experts in friendly fraud, or any type of fraud for that matter we decided to share the following link to provide more information about friendly fraud: https://fraud.net/d/friendly-fraud/. Please note also your bank(s) will likely have specific information regarding Fraud, and Friendly Fraud if more information is needed.
Our goal in this section is for your to be aware of the charges on your card, and to ensure your cards/accounts are secure and not necessarily easily accessible to those that may use them not understanding the impact they will have on you.
The following video gives a little more information about friendly fraud, as it may pertain to a business.
